PHYSICAL AFFECTION: this is also a-okay, but depending on the touch, shane may or may not react badly. he enjoys physical affection but mostly from people he already knows and in specific situations where he knows how it's supposed to fit into the broader social interaction
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: he is not much of a fighter but he is a big strong hockey player and does, in fact, know how to throw a punch. even if he would rather not
MAGIC AND TELEPATHY: i'm okay with both of these things being used in threads so long as it doesn't cross a line into metagaming!! for reference re: telepathy, shane is undiagnosed autistic and probably has an anxiety disorder. much of his surface thoughts and feelings will be focused around whatever social situation is happening at the moment and how he should react. there's almost always at least a low-level of anxiety happening in the background. if things push him too far out of his comfort zone, he's apt to shut down.
OFFENSIVE TOPICS: his canon contains homophobia, mentions of suicide, mental illness, depression, and disordered eating. homophobia and EDs, specifically, are the most likely to come up with shane and the most likely to trigger negative emotions in him. any tag where something like this might get mentioned will come with a warning.

i'm always down for shippy stuff, and heated rivalry as a canon lends itself to that. though shane is pretty much the most difficult to ship with outside canon oops. i'm open to shipping with castmates and doing cross-canon! i'm also game for writing smut. kink list tba so watch this space.
